Usually between people who grew up on the old trilogy and are horrified by the prequels' awful acting, arguably racist depictions of aliens (I'm not taking sides here, just reporting), turning the Jedi into a biological order with "special blood", and Lucas' preference for spectacle over good storytelling. The youngsters who grew up on Star War prequels take it all in stride. Personally, I can't think of Jar-Jar Binks without getting a little nauseous.
