Thanks for posting this. By the time I got to Dunnington about 3 to 4 hours later the Struck Tree had been felled and the clean-up was well under way. There was even (still ) some evidence of the hail stones collected in the gullies down Common Road which was amazing for an August evening. Sad to see all the damaged trees.
This is awesome footage of yesterday's storm - love that you captured the lightning strike that got the tree and also footage of that crazy hailstorm!
@Lib1006 thanks :D It was a total whiteout for like 15 minutes wasn't it! Its a shame I didn't get the chance to plant a microphone outside somewhere, the sound was amazing.
