This is what family entertainment should be and its gone back to the basics of movie making it was a great movie and the ending wow almost broke my heart it's the best part the last like 20 min for a shoestring budget great movie

And for all you people who left harsh comments I don't see you making movies or at least writing a script let see how you make a movie do come on

@srsharma27 - Seriously this is a super low budget movie done on a shoe string budget. It wasn't trying to win awards, just some simple family entertainment. Lay off. I only posted this because my talented dog Kuma stars in the film. I will delete all evil comments.

After watching the review on this movie, I can't believe it was named Cop Dog. What the hell kinda name is that!? IT'S SO MISLEADING!!!!

it should have been named GHOST DOG or better yet rewrite the entire plot cause the Cop Dog or Ghost Dog didn't even take a part in solving the crime!

I have watched this movie three times in the past 48 hours (soon to be 4 times! i'm watching again tomorrow!) and it is fantastic. Marlow/Kuma is such an awesome dog!

I just watched the movie, I'm in BC,Canada & thought it was very cute. The best thing about it was the gorgeous dog star, Marlow. I'd love to know what breed he/she is. He/she looks like a small golden retriever except for the ears. I have a golden retriever & would love a little smaller version like Kuma.

what the fuck did i just watch? i thought cop dog was to be like top dog but without chuck norris (which wouldnt save the film anyway). so: this is a story about a dead guy being a dog being a ghost being a cop or what? its confusing as hell and i'm looking forward to plinketts review.

It'll get released in Estonia before the U.S. too -- literally!

BTW -- just learned that COP DOG is an official selection at the 2009 International Family Film Festival!

They'll post the official schedule on Feb 5 and the festival is Feb 26 to March 1 -- but the screening is in L.A. so it should be easy to get to if you want.
