Know that Crystal is a Christian artist and not a gospel artist. Nevertheless, she is a professional artist. Christian music and Gospel Music is two different genres of music which is for sure sanged differently. Chrystal was apparently asked to lead the song and not Tamala and the producers had their reasons. You did say tamela gets overlooked alot, but maybe its because she tries too hard. Let God raise you and wait on your turn...she did not have to do that to Chrystal.Is my point.

Tamela seemed to be angry during her singing. Crystal was stunned at the way she came at her during the solo. Tamela is more professional than that....Tamela has yet to produce the number one albums that Crystal has...the awards and the money. Tamela is good on someoneelses song...but lets see her stand alone and work her career without trying to bling on someoneelses album. She would have been better off on this not showing up.

One thing Crystal doesn't have the soul in her voice that Tamela Mann has...there is a difference if you have any knowledge in music and voices. Well Crystal had a verse or two in the original song, but she did not have the entire song. So apparently Tamela Mann did SANG a lil strong on this live show. I've never seen her sing this Wild on a song.Crystal has the Christian market to herself sort of speak and Crystal started out lead singing with black choirs. But I do feel that some black women may get looked over because of their size on a stellar show such as this. Crystal was the feature on this one. TM was out of line.

That is just Crystal. She has been singing like that since the 80's. How she sang there was 100% authentic and true to herself, except that her voice cracked a bit on some notes I've heard her nail many times before. She has never been a copycat.

Okay I'll say it again. In my ever so humble opinion the Black lady out sang the white lady. I am using these descriptions because I don't know their names or care to know. I don't know any of their history of fame or sales records and do not need to know to form an opinion. Kylie Minogue/Madonna have sold millions - that doesn't make them great singers. The white chick is by no means terrible, but I would have preferred to hear more of the one for whom it seems so effortless.
