Would you rather have someone who supposedly looks naturally like everyone's image of Katniss, or would you rather have an AMAZING actress that can be made to look like the perfect Katniss. And did the book ever said she looked like a little girl? A 16 year old can easily look a lot older.
I find it very superfical that everyone a few months ago was saying she isn't Katniss she doesn't look like her. Now that she died her hair and got the braid and the dirt. Everyone loves her. I think they did an amazing job picking actors, Josh isn't the exact vision I had but I remember him from many movies and he's a great actor, that what's important. I finally started to read this series today after being recommended on it by 3 people and finding out the first parts of the movie have begun to appear. This had better be a good film adaptation so all three can be made. I HATE it when awesome books are turned into shitty movies. @AdamsGirlFan What does it matter? As I've said over a million times, people don't pay actresses to look like the character. They pay them to ACT THE CHARACTER, which Jennifer did wonderfully, clearly. Her face isn't "chubby". Would you like some anorexic idiot to play Katniss? I don't think so. They probably can't act for crap, if all they care about is the skinniness of their body. Jennifer is perfect for the role, so please, no judging on her face.

@AdamsGirlFan A tan is the easiest thing in the world to get. Go out on the beach or go to a tanning bed, or put on dark makeup not a big deal. And that is her bone structure. Katniss could have a chubby face and be starving. It isn't something that can be done. I think Jennifer looks perfect. I think that people really just didn't like her because of the hair.

It's funny, once people get over her not looking like Katniss months ago, you start realizing that she's like her now. Watch Winter's Bone and X-men First Class. They've made changes to her. !!!!PLEASE READ!!!!I believe that Peeta is ( in the description of the book ) a young teenager with, yes, blonde hair blue eyes. But what I think the man that will play Peeta needs to have is a soft look, not feminine, but a guy who looks like they are very wise and look as though they have much experience. In my opinion, the best look for the role would be ****Sterling Knight**** If you check the description in the book I believe he wuould fit the role both looks and personality wise

When I picture Katniss, I really dont see Jennifer Lawrence.. And its not just because she doesnt look like her because Josh Hutcherson doesnt look like what I imagined Peeta to be, but I think he will still do a pretty good job at playing the part. For Jennifer though.. she just isnt who I pictured Katniss to be. At all. Shes going to have to do a good job at convincing me shes good for the part. But who knows, maybe she will be really good! :)

Do you think someone who had to take care of her family, has been starved, forced to work out in the sun all day, is going to look younger than she is? Of course not! I finally started to read this series today after being recommended on it by 3 people and finding out the first parts of the movie have begun to appear. This had better be a good film adaptation so all three can be made. I HATE it when awesome books are turned into shitty movies. I hope I'm not speaking too soon but with what I've seen this seems to be starting out pretty well.

Jennifer Lawrence is a sensational actress!! She is perfect in winters bone (Oscar nominated at just 20!), and can handle a big blockbuster like she did in X-Men!!
