  • I always use onions and garlic for my base and i'm talking a whole bulb of garlic!

After that I did this basic cauliflower soup and it was a hit.

My kick was 1 tbs of curry powder and 1 tsp or tumeric, I didn't even have to add salt

  • @beginnergrow1 Thanks for the tip! Recipes are a live and ever changing thing, I always make adjustments to suit my family and encourage others to do the same.

    Le Gourmet TV

  • for a chunky version, just add the cream then mash a little bit with a potato masher.. best of both worlds. soup and whole chunks of veggies.. of course, make sure you dont cook the veggies to mush....

  • ohh... i have to try this recipe.

  • ohh...add some dill ...suits perfect (during cooking to release the flavor)

  • nice soup...but in my version i never blend it...times when mom feeded me with Gerber Soups are gone.... i prefer whole veg

  • that comment was a bit hostile eh?

  • :P a lil bit ....maybe, ...but i think it`s my aversion showed up to this kind of ''soups'' (blended) ... but it was not directed at the `legourmettv`.... just my point o view

  • for vegans: what can you subsitute for heavy cream ?

  • I would try soy milk.
