  • I was flipping through the channels one day in 1995 and caught a PBS special about this album "Wrecking Ball". I fell in love. Thank you to all that was involved in this project. Great music..

  • 420....that's me the 420 th viewer...GO SPYBOY!

  • This reminds me of the southwest - like New Mexico, Arizona,, etc. I LOVE it! I am from Texas, and there is nothing like the southwest- and no, i don't mean south Texas- yuck.

  • what an uncomfortable feeling to have all those people behind you, standing, watching.

  • Whilst I love the guitar.. this song is about her and the song.. what a voice..

  • Guitar reminds me of Santana.

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, I just remembered this song from an old album I used to have.

    Intense, spiritual. I love it.

  • the studio version is on an album called wrecking ball by emmylou harris.

i believe there is a live version on a live album called spyboy

  • Haha whats up with Darryl ?

    Thats really funny.

Great clip anyway. Best album ever.

  • Sure is that the songwriter is David Olney, and he rocks. Good wrok from her, very good work from him.

  • Boy you guys are picky, it thought it was great, but then I always liked psychedelic guitar playing the best.

  • This guitar player doesn't have it the way La

nois/Buddy do. It makes the whole thing sound so much less powerful to me.

    Gonna check David Olney

  • Not sure I understand the comment, bayouhazard - this guitar player is Lanois.

  • Not sure I understand my own comment. It's obviously Lanois and I have no idea what I was thinking. There's a version of this tune live from Sessions at W 54th that was amazing. This one is cool, but the guitar's not nearly as focused on this one.

  • @bayouhazard

????? not sure what you mean by this?

  • I like David Olney's version better.

  • I like it differently. Apologies that I forgot the songwriter credit. Description amended.

  • still looking for the water, Steve
