Wspaniala, kochana , do której dzisiaj czujemy nostalgię.
first saw mud in ,73 at notts uni . absolutely fantastic . saw them so many times more over the next ten years and was never dissapointed . what a sad loss , but will always have my memories .... rip les
I put this vid on a hughe screen, mount it on my wall and let it play the whole rest of my life over and over again. It saves lives and allways keeps you happy!
...It was 1977 or 1978, don't remember exactly... I was a school boy in Moscow learning English, and I recorded their concert from the Polish MW (middle wave ) radio program. At that time I didn't even know who whey were and of course had no even theoretical chance to see them in concert. But the music was amazing - even in this radio quality... These glammers are my younger days, thanks for this chance to see them now on this video, so many years after... Better late than never. :)
this video is typical mud, their shows were just like this the whole way through, with the dance routines and the fun, it all came so naturally to them......so glad i was able to see them live and better still meet them......the 70's rocked......thanks for the good times guys. rip les and dave.
@fearlessmudfan .....well said , They are part of my youth I will never forget and always makes me smile... I have this on my "45" jukebox and I am converting the neighbours :)
These Guys Are Fantastic Showmen,And I love The Music,Is Their Kind Of Entertainer Now Unobtainable,I thought they were very good at the time, now with the passing of time and seeing current entertainers,I realise they were brilliant.
Well we have still got The Quo,enjoy while we can.
Thanx for sharing!Mud was a great band, with a special sense for humour!Very sad to hear, that Les and Dave passed away, but they will live forever in their great hits !!!
This is my favourite Mud song. Les Gray had his Elvis Presley impersonation down pat, and I love Rob's grungey guitar riff. You certainly don't hear songs of this calibre anymore.
It's a toss-up between this and 'The secrets that you keep' for my favourite Mud record. Great band. They were on in the club we went in on my stag weekend in Blackpool in 1983 - though only Les Gray was left of the original line-up. What a night that was.

Great, folks who enjoy this might like to look out for "Mud Rock" which was a great album, "live" studio performance.
Another reminder of when musicians could play and the music was good.

Chinn & Chapman : The Masters.
PAULLONDEN 3 years ago 3
Yes. I want to record this song eventually as a tribute to them - Mike Chapman is my all time fave producer.
fatpizzaman 3 years ago
Was it not Phil Wainman, that produced
those classics ?,I thought Chinn&Chapman
were the songwriters,
Sweet F.A. and the NEXT album by
The Sensational Alex Harvey Band,are
prime examples what a brilliant
producer Wainman was.
PAULLONDEN 3 years ago
He produced them after they left RAK Records in 1975. Prior to that most of their material was produced by Chinn & Chapman.
