@mcrfan1324 Set up and tuning takes a little while, especially when you are just starting out. Once it's set up, it's reasonably easy to play because the notes are turned to sound pretty good together, but once you start really learning it, you find out there are all these difficult techniques. The video above, however, is me playing with almost no training at all.
Some people complain it hurts their fingers, but not me. An other caution is it's big. The standard koto is over 6ft long.
@mcrfan1324 My biggest mistakes while learning was making bridges fall and denting the instrument. I've done it both while tuning, and while doing a pitch bend incorrectly.
Is setting up hard? And what about playing? Any notes? I'm curious because I would really love to play one :)
