@DEREKinNYC You're joking, right? I thought it was David Innes at first... I was looking for Diane the beautiful. These creatures resemble Sagaths more than Tharks! This scene (less the jumping) reminds me a lot more of David and Perry's walking through pellucidar as prisoners of the sagaths than John Carter on Mars. Tharks are supposed to be 14ft tall with 4 arms and does ERB ever describe a thoat at being a 2 legged animal?

@christo930 I did purchase the DVD and saw the whole thing. I well understood that liberties were taken with the source material because of budget issues. I had no problems with enjoying this movie for what it was, a low-budget direct to DVD b-movie that used ERB's as source material and yet compromised out of necessity. I enjoyed the movie.
