The US version of Wipeout and the Scandinavian version both put a lot of emphasis on comedy and humour, which I think is great. We laugh our asses of watching people fall and hurt themselves, accompanied by hilarious commentary from the hosts, geeky sound fx etc, it's hilarious and IMO thats the only real way you can make Wipeout into great tv entertainment; by including the humour and sillyness of it all.
