He took on an injury to his leg, I think. The England tour side for those tests was decimated by injury, rested players and then half of the team came down with a severe stomach bug that ruled them out from playing. It's a good job I'm Welsh or I'd have been really p*ssed off! (See you at the World Cup!)

No, he's made himself available for the World Cup later this year. I think he'll be retiring after that though, yes. This was his last ever club game for Sale as he retired at the end of this season.
