Greetings to you and yours.

1. I am not happy with its battery backup.

2. It does not have an inbuilt GPS [ optional ]

3. Its inbuilt packet modem for 1200/9600 baud has no provision for connecting to computer serial port. Cannot make it an IGate without an external TNC/packet modem.

This radio has its own beauty; but I would now prefer to have a Kenwood TH-D72A Data Communicator!

@PatagoniaTrekkerHam Happy with the radio of course but as obvious would like to have features like USB connectivity for making it a RF to Internet Gateway for APRS/packet without an external TNC..an optional battery case for backup too...

I wanted to see going further from 108 to 118 to 146 receiving the air band. I think this is capable of tuning on those frequencies too.
