The president award is the best thing he (Sangeeth Nipun SB Wickramasinghe) got. Sujeewa is also one of his students in the university. Even Kalani Perera. As I know he has many students in Sri Lanka and other countries. Even I did Visharad degree under him and I also live in Canada. When u visit Sri lanka this time, If u really want to know about these great seiner Esraj musicians visit Aesthetic University. They will tell you all the thing that u don’t know.

Thank you for the comments. Objective of the article was to encourage children to play the Esraj. Omission of Mr.S.B.Wickremasinghe's name is unintentional and is regretted.

University of Visual and Performing Arts supported me immesely in my concert. Chorus comprised of 3rd and 4th year students. With Sujeewa's help, I was able to talk to the Esraj students in their class room, a great experience.

First of all I have to say this is great….This is regarding to ur article which was on 16th Dec 2011 in lankadeepa news paper. It is so sad to read all about yourself and felt so bad. You have mention there, that there are no any Esraj musicians. He is Sangeeth Nipun S.B. Wickramasinghe who worked as a seiner lecturer in Aesthetic University. He got lots of awards.

Nice try. I am a class mate of Sujeewa at University of Aesthetic. I am in Canada. This is regarding your paper adventisment that you post Lankadeepa. May be you don't know ,Sujeewa also a student of great musician S.B. Wickramsinghe. I will tell him about if you really want to know. Kalani also a one of his student at Horana University what ever it call. He got a "Rajaya Sammana" in 1999 because of his great job to Sri Lanka with his Esraj. I am very sorry for you even you don't know him.
