There's an interesting article in today's New York Times that mentions brush turkeys. Apparently a day-old chick (actually, poult is the correct word for a baby turkey) can run up vertical walls & trees, making use of their wings not for vertical lift, but to maintain pressure against the surface they're running up. Very nice, I really like Brush Turkeys. Lived in Brisbane for a 4 months earlier this year and they are everywhere.
