@alienrace Good to know. How does one get the Linux binaries? The Linux downloads on the website are all just the source package.

@guitardbucket there are no compiled binaries, but compiling them is very easy to do now.

@alienrace I wish there were at least Ubuntu binaries released. Also, it would be nice if the Linux download section said specifically that it was just source, like "Download Linux / Unix (source)" instead of leaving it ambiguous. Obviously someone on the dev team uses Linux, so what's the harm in releasing a Linux binary? After all, you do it for Windows.

Alien arena doesn't work for me. All I get is a black screen with music =(

@saaron62 Do you have an Intel graphics chip? That might be your problem right there...Intel has insanely low support for OpenGL on their chips. Right now they only support OpenGL 1.1, which is the equivalent of DirectX 4 or so.
