  • 0:36 What´s the song ??

  • Yey arpegios

  • any1 know the song at the binging i want to learn it

  • If i recall correctly on the credits it says Stevie Vai was the one doing all the guitar parts which makes since considering hes one of the best in the world in my opinion but maybe Ralph can play guitar at a certain extent but if hes that good then he would be known as a guitar player as well.

  • best guitarist and actor I ever saw <3 love him!

  • What is the name of that melody? I don't find it..

  • @Ovejeronegro96 Paganini Caprice no.5

  • what is the name of the classical song he play ?

  • @iliev7 Paganini Nicolo Caprice 5th.

  • Does anyone know what blues song he is playing on the guitar? ( the second guitar part ) thanks.

  • Ralph Maccio never actually played any of it. The guitar parts were played by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Steve Vai. Steve Vai worked with Ralph for weeks on how to "look" like he was playing the parts.

  • @volfan1nga why does everyone say its stevie ray vaughn when it wasn't dfivnidfivusdbubduob vhub dubru9bqeuqgiqrtb

  • @volfan1nga I think you're right saying Ralph didn't play any of it..... but it was Arlen Roth who taught Ralph how to "look" the part and the guitar parts were actually played by Arlen Roth, Steve Vai & Ry Cooder. SRV wasn't part of this film/soundtrack.

  • @volfan1nga stevie ray had nothing to do with this movie. it was Ry Cooder and Steve Vai

  • 0:51 - 1:03 is my fav part of "Eugene's Trick Bag", and I love this acoustic version.

  • What song is that 1:35?It sounds so awesome.:D

  • @djaism

I feel like you. It’s amazing, good guitar.

  • No no no..this is how it all went down... Ralph Machio grew up to become Yingvey Laruso who learned classic thrash guitar from the legend Eddie Van miyagi san who was the star of greased thunder bolt in the film legend of Guitar MCguilicutty.

Then they all got tats and changed their names and formed the band Def Zepplin.

  • what song is that he is playing before the blues song

  • @cadencezrs12 he's playing Nicolo Paganini's "Capriccio No.5" it's song for violin. It's link with the end of the movie where he will play this song but in a more modern way with an electric guitar. (The electric guitar version is called eugene trick bag and is a steve vai's song)

I hope it help you and sorry for my bad english.

  • use the Crane Technique on that professor!!!!!!!!!

  • He should do a classical/blues fusion!! omg then he'll be famous!! ahhaha

  • Even if he doesn´t play himself, he must be a good guitarplayer, it´s hard to fake it that good.

  • i play every type of music but only blues can fast fwd the night

  • ....And he grew up to become chris broderick

  • @271189a and then he join to megadeth xd

  • The Biggest element of the New world order is Disorder, They profit and thrive off of us hating each other, I forgive The Klan, I forgive what they did, I forgive Hatefullness, If God can forgive, Then who am I not to, ? Why? simply because God does not have to live with them down here, I have to, Then I have to face Judgement day, Souls spared from eternal hell have to be able to show unconditional love. I can do that. It's free.

  • I'am black, what does it matter, The black man can dunk a Basketball, the whiteman can run a corporation, In the end, Mother Earth needs saving, we all live here, The politicians would have us divided and fighting, In Vietnam, my ppl had white ppl in the army looking over them as they slept in the battlefield. So i can't hate white ppl for helping keep my ppl alive, my pple made it home. We gotta help each other, THEY keep us divided, not any more, My Brother of another color loves me,

  • My uncle always said" The White man in his movies always shows u who is the right Man" This movie was full of Black history, Props to Ralph for taking this role...

And we ain't done yet. keep lookin, till solar flares burns us all, we gonna be here.

No disrespect, but I love how in harmony a white brotha brung it home, That's us working together, Skin color aside, in the end, that's what it's gonna take. Love to All. That Love for each other is the strongest bind we have in this Universe.

  • What's the song that he plays at 1:27?

  • why we can't play both, classical and blues?

  • @sono6io66

You can play both. People with open ears can appreciate music from across the board. In blues and classical alike, the top musicians are most focused on feel/phrasing. That's why the classical guitar teacher in this film is wrong, classical music is not 'exacting', the best performers of classical music are the ones that are best at bringing the music to life, and this requires understanding more about the piece than is written down on paper. Developing your ears is the key.

  • geil =)

das is auch das lied von crossraods

  • he is not even playing the right notes on the guitar to the riff hahahaha .. bad acting

  • @windsurf7772 It's kinda' hard to play it when you can't play it.

  • @windsurf7772

You only notice it when you know about guitars. I think he did a great job acting it. Altho I see it's fake.

I've seen worse btw, like in the tv series Chuck.

  • Don't serve two mustards HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    I don't get it.

  • @Metallicafan2454 and masters

  • "Don't serve two 'mustards'?"

    I don't get it.

    ha ha ha (just kidding)

  • @cclayborn

    I don't either

  • Paganini 5th Caprice

  • what's the name of this beautiful composition, please?

  • I think this was one of the first movies that spoke to me as a kid growing up .....

  • cool

  • Is the teacher the psychiatrist Sidney from M*A*S*H?

  • You Tube: "Rafael Cortés Buleria" if you want to see real guitar mastery.

  • 0:37 what song is that

  • @samwisescalf hi men,te song is of paganini 5th caprice, but steve vai play this theme, the name of the song is EUGENIO TIG BAG men saludos desde México yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • @rokeroheavy Thanks

  • @samwisescalf

    5th Caprice by Niccolo Paganini

And It's not a song, it's a composition because it has no vocals.

  • @revilo111 A composition is a work, regardless if it has words or not. To say it has no vocals means it's an instrumental.

  • 0:37 what is that song

  • @samwisescalf Fuck you bitch.

  • @ULOD14 wtf

  • you got kicked in yaw chest

  • @37terraplane,actually the blues/slide and classical stuff was done by ry cooder and steve vai (i believe the 2 of them also helped "compose" the battle at the end.

no hard feelings just a simple oversight.

  • Classical part played by Bill Kanengiser, blues part by Arlen Roth, who also coached Ralph for the guitar in this film.

  • great movie!

  • What was that? song? 0:37

  • downstairs.......TRUE , TRUE !!!

  • classical music is shit, up the blues! :)

  • @bigmangiff ur an idiot lol

  • whats the name of the second song

  • @polotos thats what i've been looking for all morning!! lolol

  • @richievalens07 sometimes the strings are more loose. example, Hendrix doing "Hear My Train a Comin' ".. he is tuned down to "C", (4 frets down). Believe me tuned like that the strings are real loose and vibrate forever..

  • 'Intro"- Is that Willy Wonka?? Is it though??

  • @ThatAudioChocolate no actually he was Dr Sidney Friedman from M*A*S*H

  • @Peak2Creek1 Ty but Joke??

  • eugenes trick bag/a rip of from Paganini

  • Niiiiiiiice. Great movie, alot better than the Spears "Crossroads" movie! lol I was thinking about covering this entire scene soon. Check out my channel if enjoy a good BLUES GUITAR improv with myself and I.

  • What song is the first one he plays, the classical one?

  • @bast489 Eugene's trick bag/a rip of from Paganini's 5th Caprice.

  • @n8tivguitar thanks

  • blues is easy to play but to be real good "it's cultural you have to be born to it"

  • @101shitkid being good and playing the guitar full stop you have to be born with you cant just become tallented anyone who says different are talking bull shit

  • @marycockburn1 Thats bullshit mate. You practise enough and you'll become a good guitarist. A musician is only worth his salt due to his practice. Nobody is born being a good guitarist.

  • @TCreationGtr1603 no you dont get what i ment

  • @TCreationGtr1603 thats not 100% true. some people are born with long, slender fingers which helps guitar playing. To a point, this can be overcome with practice, but your full potential cannot reach the full potential of one who has those traits. also, some people's brain's are naturally wired to grasp musical theory better, and/or have perfect pitch, which also makes life easier. again, can be overcome to a point, but you're still limited. also, some people cant even hold a beat. my dad cant.

  • @101shitkid It's like the guitar in itself is an easy instrument to learn but one of the hardest to master.

    Exactly the same.

  • @iamyourgod1988 I don´t agree, the guitar it´s much moore dificult than piano 4ex. And it isn´t easy play all kind of blues. I am trying whit johnson and he have some hard stuffs.

  • @101shitkid I say you have to love it (the blues) to be good. It Ain't Where You're From, It's Where You're At.

  • Primitive music? Tightwad!!!

  • gives me goosebumps everytime when i hear that.

  • I like both styles, can't do both? :(

  • @MrROTD lmao me neither, i wish tho, in the mean time ill swing my hammer insead of an axe

  • @MrROTD I do.

  • I want to learn the classical piece he plays in the middle of this clip. Is it a common piece or was it something made for the movie; I'm sure people know how to play it either way, will someone be able to shed some light on this for me? haha thanks!

  • whats the name of the classical piece he was playing?

  • @eazyduzitjacob

    Paganini's 5th Caprice in A minor.

  • Scheiße, mich nervt VIELES.. Aber egal, anderen gehts schlechter, was ein beschissenes Denken. Hilft gerade nicht.

  • @MrZulu9 he didnt play

  • does anyone know who actually played this? I know Steve Vai played almost the entire duel with Ry Cooder, but this is super clean

  • LOL at the amount of replies ive received due to my comment about Daniel san actually playing that part:P JUST SO YOU GUYS NO I WAS KIDDING, But he did a good job in lookin like he actually played it

  • omg the 5th caprice of paganini kick ass to that country-blues thing

  • although Ralph didn't really played any of the songs on guitar, he had to learn to play it.

  • @hyperkid9369 its called Eugen's trick bag

  • this is a movie afterall. but this is a julliard teacher, who is lecturing a young boy....so i guess he never know what paganini himself said about guitar and violin for instance, according to him one was his lover and the other was his bride.......or einsteins skilful talent to play violin, he was able even to play some mozart concerts, but if he had pursued to follow music, probably the world we know now will be kind of diferent, and would had had one more skilfull violinist

  • Nice one! :) Check out mine : watch?v=b_vb0Ebmixs

  • What's the name of the classical song?

  • @superninjaswordsmen the classical piece is Paganini's Caprice No.5

  • como se llama este tema?
