If i recall correctly on the credits it says Stevie Vai was the one doing all the guitar parts which makes since considering hes one of the best in the world in my opinion but maybe Ralph can play guitar at a certain extent but if hes that good then he would be known as a guitar player as well.
Ralph Maccio never actually played any of it. The guitar parts were played by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Steve Vai. Steve Vai worked with Ralph for weeks on how to "look" like he was playing the parts.
@volfan1nga I think you're right saying Ralph didn't play any of it..... but it was Arlen Roth who taught Ralph how to "look" the part and the guitar parts were actually played by Arlen Roth, Steve Vai & Ry Cooder. SRV wasn't part of this film/soundtrack.
@remogogy. After they stole the pick of destiny from tenacious D and kicked their add at the battle of the bands with the help of a bunck of 10 year old prep school rockets!
No no no..this is how it all went down... Ralph Machio grew up to become Yingvey Laruso who learned classic thrash guitar from the legend Eddie Van miyagi san who was the star of greased thunder bolt in the film legend of Guitar MCguilicutty.
Then they all got tats and changed their names and formed the band Def Zepplin.
@cadencezrs12 he's playing Nicolo Paganini's "Capriccio No.5" it's song for violin. It's link with the end of the movie where he will play this song but in a more modern way with an electric guitar. (The electric guitar version is called eugene trick bag and is a steve vai's song)
The Biggest element of the New world order is Disorder, They profit and thrive off of us hating each other, I forgive The Klan, I forgive what they did, I forgive Hatefullness, If God can forgive, Then who am I not to, ? Why? simply because God does not have to live with them down here, I have to, Then I have to face Judgement day, Souls spared from eternal hell have to be able to show unconditional love. I can do that. It's free.
I'am black, what does it matter, The black man can dunk a Basketball, the whiteman can run a corporation, In the end, Mother Earth needs saving, we all live here, The politicians would have us divided and fighting, In Vietnam, my ppl had white ppl in the army looking over them as they slept in the battlefield. No disrespect, but I love how in harmony a white brotha brung it home, That's us working together, Skin color aside, in the end, that's what it's gonna take. Love to All. That Love for each other is the strongest bind we have in this Universe.
You can play both. People with open ears can appreciate music from across the board. In blues and classical alike, the top musicians are most focused on feel/phrasing. That's why the classical guitar teacher in this film is wrong, classical music is not 'exacting', the best performers of classical music are the ones that are best at bringing the music to life, and this requires understanding more about the piece than is written down on paper. Developing your ears is the key.
@samwisescalf hi men,te song is of paganini 5th caprice, but steve vai play this theme, the name of the song is EUGENIO TIG BAG men saludos desde México yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

@marycockburn1 Thats bullshit mate. You practise enough and you'll become a good guitarist. A musician is only worth his salt due to his practice. Nobody is born being a good guitarist.
@TCreationGtr1603 thats not 100% true. some people are born with long, slender fingers which helps guitar playing. To a point, this can be overcome with practice, but your full potential cannot reach the full potential of one who has those traits. also, some people's brain's are naturally wired to grasp musical theory better, and/or have perfect pitch, which also makes life easier. again, can be overcome to a point, but you're still limited. also, some people cant even hold a beat. my dad cant.
