The best song from the new album... The rest is plastic lady gaga shit pop - there is nothing left from the original erasure sound....I'm very disappointed....
@zpflmtznmnn Just When I Thought It Was Ending has a very 'NIghbird' as well as even 'Loveboat' feel I thought. Moody and romantic synthy erasure goodness :)
Erasure are the best pop duo (yes even over PSB) of the last 25 years. Andy Bell is such a wonderful vocalist; still sounding great as he hits 50 and Vince Clarke is beyond comparison. Frankmusik did a hell of a job on this record!
ive followed vince since the pre new life depeche mode released tv set and dreaming of me, seen them live and in my face at the manchester ritz in 86, followed them on tour 30 plus times, but this isnt erasures best track, in fact its crap; lacking in every dept. no melody and no harmonising. has the end dawned for erasure?
lets hope the rest of tomorows world is better than this garbage
Erasure have never used auto tune and I've been with them since before the beginning. I believe you might be getting confused with melodine, which slightly distorts sound. This is what was used on the track NOT Auto Tune.
I've loved Vince and Andy since "Wonderland", but this sounds like shit.
Sorry, this song sounds awful, especially with the Auto-Tune (WHY????). Hopefully the new album has some good Erasure songs on it, not like this dreck.

@USSCaprica FUCK U AZZHOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ERASURE SUX DONKY DICKS ON THIS ALBUM. I HEARD IT. IT SUXXX. WONDERLAND, CIRCUS, NIGHTBIRD, COWBOY ALL BETTA THAN THIS SHITT!!! FUC U!!!!!
@UTubeBerzerker hey fukka nigga.. clean your fuckin nigga big ears woncya? peps on here who say this is tops now wot da sayin... that is old shit ya talkin about.. this is good and so 2011...go and live in da fuckin past
@UTubeBerzerker just because you blow your - (NEGATIVE 35) IQ brains out, doesn't mean others do it as well fuckin nigga bitch slave. Erasure rule whether you niggazz in da getto like it or not
@UTubeBerzerker When I went to see these in concert they sang this song and it sounded the same as this. Auto tune makes no difference with erasure. They sound great with or without :)
My husband s t e p h a n o was the one responsible for getting Frankmusik to produce the new album! He also introduced Angelina Jolie to Brad Pitt. Jennifer Aniston hates him.
erasure still making great music and songs they cant keep to try and sound like the 80s and 90s they are better than the crap around now today artists cant sing live and will never be heard of in 25 years time anyone can make a song nowadays they are just kareoke singers not music artists or song writers
I think the chorus is fantastic! Catchy and infectious....I find myself singing this threw the day. My co-worker, who is not an Erasure fan found this song to be enjoyable!
For me, I had to listen to this a lot to start to like it. I've listened to it about 20 times, and I can give it a 7 out of 10. It's just OK. Hope they do well with it though!
"Sometimes", "Oh Lamour", "Love To Hate You", "Chains Of Love" and "Stop" were all instant favorites.
Awesome song..like a ray of sunshine in a time of seemingly gloom and doom in the world,,Everything IS going to be alright, looking forward to the rest of Tomorrow's World....thank you Vince and Andy!!!!!
At first the track didn't really stand out, but after a few listens I really love it! I first thought I heard autotuning but now that I've listened to it so much I can't even tell where I thought I heard it at!
I actually think Erasure has found their way back with this song, I agree with some of the comments here that they lost something in the last few albums, but this is back to brilliance. Can't wait to hear the remixes.
...the comments on this is quite disappointing, if you guys feel as such why don't you support your beloved artist instead of putting him down. Goodness some fans. Have faith.
Hm some people say this is not the erasure "we all know". Um each song has it's own sound. Not everything has to sound the same or else it would be like the artists of today
, I remember I used to get goose bumps when listening to Erasure, but for me it's gone...I don't know what happened, for me they just lost their trade mark sound a few years ago ... and this single is just plain ordinary, sounds ordinary ... it's not that I don't like erasure, it's just that they've lost something...Does anyone know what it is?
I adore Erasure - but when I heard the song I had the same feelins as you. For me there is something missing - sadly. I wish tunes like Miracle or Save Me Darling came back... Andy is a brilliant singer so I will always try to see Erasure live but to be honest - the LETEOTW, LOVE BOAT albums are only "collecting dust" in my home and I will rather play the old ones. I really wish the new record was great!
@65Lambretta thanks for your comment, at least I'm not all alone here jeje. take care. As I was reading some comments, someone mentioned that Erasure tunes used to become "instant favorites" as soon as they were heard; well the same used to happened to me... :/ Glad most fans still like their stuff though. Hopefully when the new album it's released I'll find some nice song that I´ll enjoy again. Let's wait and see.
With Loveboat I was not impressed and it did not touch the inner fibers as the early work had...but when Night Bird came out in 2005 I was quite pleased with it because that sound and melody and Bell's great voice were back ...BUt something changed with Light at The End of the World, something was gone and my preference started to fade away ... Now, with this new single, I feel nothing as well,,,
When I say, I say I say came out I was in my early twenties, an d that album also had a certain characteristic sound that at first I could not process, but after listening to the album a few times the music grew on me and it also became a great album. The same goes for the self titled Erasure (1995)...which has some fine work. Cowboy, still also had that particular sound, that made Erasure one of my top bands (even though their popularity had decreased by then).
Hey guys, I trying to be honest here, I've always appreciated Erasure´s work, right from the beginning...starting with wonderland (which was an underrated album at first, but now fans have learned to value. But honestly, I used to enjoy Erasure's work from beginning to end every time a new album from them came out...The Circus; The Innocents; Wild; Chorus, they were all great album to listen to, because they had a particular signature sound that no other band used to have (at least in my opinion
@youboxer actually they used Melodyne... Andy Bell tweeted as much to me earlier today, after I'd asked whether auto tune was used. I really hope they don't use it all over the new album....
@youboxer actually they used Melodyne... Andy Bell tweeted as much earlier today, in response to my question about whether they'd used auto-tune. He said if you want to get on the radio, you need melodyne. Sad, but there you have it.

Just such a wonderful new single & if there's any justice then it'll be a hit for Andy & Vince. But, thinking about it, as long as these boys carry on making music this great then who cares about the charts anyway. Over the years Erasure have given so much pleasure to so many people (me included) that it really matters not how many numbers they sell but, that they appreciate how many people still take delight in what they create! Respect also to Frankmusik for splendid production - great work!
@fffrankk you're right about the autotune, but that's just the nature of the music business. What I mean is that Andy's got an amazing voice that can be showcased live and doesn't have to be hidden behind effects.
I adore Erasure, this is one of my fav new songs of theres
