  • I wached this documentary years ago, and i never forgot it

  • i know this guy! his name i ali and i know him from the intetnet..

    love him so much

  • I saw this film for the first time yesterday and was incredibly moved. It is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. I have tried to find it on DVD, but I guess it has not yet been distributed commercially in stores. I wonder how those four young men are doing. I hope they are realizing their dreams. I hope they are safe and healthy. I hope their families are well. Incredible film, just incredible.

  • It's been three years since I've seen that documentary and I still wonder about Mohammad and Hayder all the time. I hope they are still alive and safe. Those two really seemed like great guys. We need more people like them to stay in this world and keep it a better place. If you're out there, let us know you're okay.

  • wooow ,, amazing ,, i really want to see it ...

  • This is one of those films you never forget. Ever.

  • amaazing documentary .

  • I'd give my left eye and a lung to meet Ali, Mohammed, Hayder and Anmar. This was an awesome documentary.

  • Someone translate what the hell Ali said in this clip. D:

  • Ok, he said: "Hello Mohamad, Anmar, and Haydar. I just wanna show you the people who gathered at the cinema here to see our film so you can see their feelings and how they felt about what we did."

    *everybody claps*

    Hope I helped :)

  • Ah, thanks.

  • My brother-in-law was at this screening and during question and answer session suggested the standing ovation to thank these boys for their amazing work. The documentary is amazing and anyone who hasn't seen it yet, needs to watch it. What incredible work!

  • luv dat documentary. giv em respect, dey dey live through dat horrible shit everyday, and get up every morning ready 4 anything.

  • That was a really amazing documentary. I just finished watching it, i really give props to those guys

  • One of the best documentary's ive seen in a long long time.

  • Wow that was a good movie..shows you how much american teenagers take for granted..maybe not only in america but other countries. It does show you that iraq isn't full of terrorist they just happen to be all the media talks about.

  • I saw this movie just now......very engrossing and interesting you could feel the worries and tensions of the boys ........

  • I was so absolutely amazed and impressed with these young men. What an absolutely delightful but at the same time very real look at what's happening in Iraq. Mohammad was my favorite, but they were all very sweet souls. God bless them all and I hope that they are alright.

  • Congratulation to HBO and those kids for those independent film's.

    beautiful

  • Just watched on HBO last night. Captivating, gut wrenching, incredible. Hope you boys will be safe.

  • This was such a wonderful idea. I Hope the other three boys are safe and have some understanding of what an amazing impact this film has made on many Americans.

Thank you for sharing. I would really like to see the interview that was conducted after this showing.

    Fucking WAR

    WAR FUCK.

  • Mohammad is so awesome!!!!!!!!

  • This was such a wonderful idea. I pray the other three boys are safe and have some understanding of what an amazing impact this film has made on many Americans. Thank you for sharing. I would really like to see the interview that was conducted after this showing. Any plans on posting that?

  • Is this the Assyrian (Christian) kid?

  • Nope

  • he's name is Mohamed. obviously is a Muslim name.

  • Actually it is not obvious. I'm an Assyrian Christian. Assyrian Christians sometimes adopt Muslim Arabic names to better assimilate into their communities. These individuals remain practicing Christians despite outward signs (dress, name, etcetera)to the contrary.

  • Yes they do use Arabic names but not Islamic names.

I have many Christian Chaldean friends and they have names like: Fadi, Salam, Malek, mansour, salah, yousuf but they do not use Islamic names like: Mohamed, Abu Baker, Ali, Hassan or Omar.

  • I was wondering if there is anyway I can find out if the rest of the guys from the movie are ok and safe. I would love to talk to Mohammad and Hayder. Since I have watched this movie I have prayed for their saftey because they didn't leave like Ali and Anmar did. And I want to thank them all for putting their hearts out for everyone to see. They are such B-E-A-UTIFUL SOULS.

  • Ali, Anmar, Mohammad and Haydar, I alsow would like to thank you for the wonderful film you have created. I wish you all the best and I hope you are safe and with much happiness. Keep us posted on your future plans. I was at the Screening above in Traverse City and I hope you know how much your work was appreciated and how much everyone thinks about you. My best and good luck,

    Mike

  • i just finished watching this documentary as well it was an interesting and mind opening i would enjoy another documentary just to see how things are for 2008 since it was a based 2 years ago... just gto see if any changes have occured. anyway god bless those who are out there

  • I just saw this Documentary, and at the end the child said he was "Sorry for making a boring film" If that Boy ever reads this just know that you have changed countless views in the West to show that ALL PEOPLE ARE THE SAME and that NO ONE IS DIFFERENT WE ALL like to think we are but at the end of the Day WE ARE ALL ONE PEOPLE...God Bless Everyone regardless of which GOD you worship

  • if you have HBO, you can watch it on that channel, just check the listings. If not, I'm sure there is going to be a DVD release or internet downloadable one in the near future.

It's simple yet beautiful. True testament to what humans beings really are. Thank you Ali, Mohammad, Anmar, and Hayder
