  • I hardly believe that anybody seriously can think this was for real!!!

But considering the comments I'm actually not sure.. . LOL!!!

  • Lol this is great!

  • naw, girl did do 27 legit 1 armed chin ups,not on film, and the record at the time was like 12

  • @xanyxxxx go back to kitchen bitch !

women shouldn'e be aloud to use internet

  • @xanyxxxx have you even search by lilian leitzel on wikipedia bitch??

what are you talking about people??

    there's no such record !

    STUPID FAT AMERICANS

  • @Shtrimpu Typical Ignorant piece of shit, getting their information from a publicly written website. How about you go research the feats. this woman performed before her death. She did 27 one arm(right arm) CHIN-UPS, BUT, a good amount of them were dynamic. So the person scoring her said she only managed to do 6 legitimate Chin-Ups.

  • @TeddyGrahamUSMC you're such an idiot.

    u must be american to

  • Who the Hell are these Monsters and what have they done with our women?

  • @Shtrimpu

Acrobat Lillian Leitzel held the world record for many years: 27 one arm pullups. This was the record for everyone, male and female!!

  • @anorev99 who said that?? are u fucking stupid??

there's no video prooving that a woman can do JUST 1 PULLUP (one arm).

  • @Shtrimpu Wow......sexist prick much...?

  • @anorev99 you forgot to take your Valium

  • Horrible movie.......

  • Lillian Leitzel did indeed perform 27 one-arm pull-ups, however she performed them dynamically, kipping, using legs for assistance ... the most recorded CLEAN OAC ever done by a woman is 6, by a german female gymnast, some decades back.

  • that's a hoog bitch

  • haha good try! If you look closely at the chest/stomach area you can see a bit of film interference which would be the harnessed being edited out.

  • #LOL

  • #LOL

  • im 100% sure that this is genuine ,, in those days when they only had black and white they wouldnt have had the special effects to fake something like this...people were stronger in those days because ate more veges

  • @vorno99 Are you joking? Hard to tell on the internet sometimes. Notice how her body is not leaning to one side as she does them... something is supporting her evenly. The videos of men doing one arm pullups always show a lean to one side. I have done two armed pullups with +95 lbs before (at a weight of 150) and I can tell you that it isn't possible to do them as she is doing them in that position.

  • @muerteverde i dont do jokes mate all i can say is when my dad was a kid he said everything was heaps harder ..some people dont realise back in those days everybody did 2 hours exercise every morning as soon as they woke up thats what my dad said..and he said if you didnt the police would come and take you away ..i got go for wee wee bye bye

  • @vorno99 jajaja ok got it. It is often hard to spot sarcasm on the internet. You got me. :)

  • Does anyone recognize what film this is from? It's obviously fake--look at the woman doing shoulder presses and the music. Who's that entering at the end? This is definitely an old comedy wherein the character entering the room gets into hijinks with the strong women.

  • It's from a 1963 movie called "The Man from Diners Club" starring Danny Kaye.

  • Thanks

  • the one arm pull ups are fake !

The woman is far too massive to be able to do that many pull ups, in such a good form.

  • haha i admire you

  • Im pretty certain she's being assisted by unseen wires. her body is far too steady.

  • I don't think this is a good argument since those doing one arm pullups in other youtube videos are also steady.

  • @anorev99 Not that level. I'ts near enough impossible to stay that straight without having muscles that make you look mutant.

  • @Ayinde2853 lmao if this really Evan being talked about xD she's totally looks like her legs are creating the force to go up

  • @Ayinde2853 she also looks too fat to be able to do even a normal chin-up

  • Look at her. I am sure she could do at least 2. See her arms?

  • Observations that support the idea that this is real are, besides the size of her arms, the fact that she uses her left arm at one point for momentum, the slight kipping motion of her left leg, and in the close-up of her face she appears to be grimacing, indicative of having done much exertion

  • fake

  • that's rly funny

  • wowwowowow....thats ...okaay...im feeling weak.

  • that's hillarious

  • Sorry, that's is SO fake. You've obviously never seen how gravity works or how objects fling. Now Jackie Chan, HE knows how to imitate the reality of movement while using strings and wires that are flawlessly hidden.

  • jackie chan doesnt use strings and wires

  • uhhh, you're prolly thinking of Tony Jaa. Jackie don't always use it, but he uses them alot and has used them for a while. When he does it he makes it photogenic, meaning it looks great on screen and practically flawless .

  • ty captain obvious

  • lol she is probably a man in a wig :P

  • to everyone who doesn't realize it... this is sarcasm

  • waste of time

  • the girl in black clothes? doin the military press is hawt~

  • no shit !

  • stupid joke. I would be much more impressed with a girl doing a real one arm pull up. Any girls out there that can do a one armed pull up? Make a video.

  • Fake since her centre of gravity (just above groin) is not vertically below her hand, and her shoulders are level.

  • brilliant spot

  • that's funny, it's a good spoof. But obviously fake.

  • Haha

    They are on the Moon.

  • wtf

  • its an OAC not a pull up

  • Hm. What is that? A strong guy in a fat suit? It actually looks real, but no woman her size could do those that easily. Funny clip, though:)

  • Before the movie was released I read a newspaper article about this person. The article had a picture of this individual completing a one arm pullup and gave the name. It was a female name. My other two videos show a performance that many would consider impossible even for a small woman. Such is the potential of the human body.

  • Well, you should never say never, I guess. I mean, Yuri Vlasov could do them at 280 pounds, but it's hard to imagine a heavy set woman actually doing them:) Nice clips. Keep posting.

  • Does not look real. I've seen plenty of one arm pullups and the torso moves differently due to leverage. Looks like she/he is supported by "invisible" wires.

  • What is her name? Be nice to have pictures of her too!

  • I don't know her name. I once saw an article about her which contained a picture of her doing a one arm pullup sleeveless, by the way. I've been trying unsuccessfully to locate it. It was from a newspaper (The Newark Evening News) in the spring of 1963 when the movie was released. If you can find it let me know.

  • If google doesnt have it, the library at Newark might. hard to say.

  • @anorev99 couldn't be the same person by the date, but Lillian Leitzel (real name Leopoldina Alitza Pelikan) the circus performer and acrobat could do 27 right-arm pull-ups and 17 left-arm pull-ups!

  • @krononomikon Lillian Leitzel was amazingly strong. She could also bend a crowbar with her bare hands!!! She weighed only about 100 pounds but said that she was stronger than men heavier than her. The woman in this video is obviously much larger than Leitzel so probably she could not do as many one arm pullups but still displayed amazing strength.

  • @anorev99

bend a crowbar my ass? 27 one arm pull ups for a woman? My arse! One arm pull ups are extremely hard, especially for woman.

  • hi. from what movie or t.v. show is this from

  • It's from a movie called "Man From Diner's Club" that was released in 1963 and starred Danny Kaye.

  • Funny!
