Yeah, the 1996-2001 graphics were designed by TvBD...no way the in-house designers at KRON could ever match that. Overall, the new HD look isn't bad though.
KRON is NOT in HD. They are merely shooting the studio and field in 16 x 9.

WBZ didn't steal from KRON HD. The WBZ 4 News was in 2000-2003. This is from 2007.

I guess it is good they brought back KRON instant classics but the opening graphics still suck compared to the 1996-2001 era.
