That looks delish...just a quick q..wouldnt it be easier if you cooked the beef by itself first and then add the other stuff??

@tanyaa92 Probably! But i like to cook the veggies with the meat, so that the meat soaks up all the veggie juice as it cooks. Either way would work though :o)

@veronicahails I know what you mean :P The whole reason I originally chose this dish was because Layton LOVES beef and mushrooms and you just can't ever go wrong with pie crust or anything Pillsbury haha!

@danac352 All you have to do is slowly unroll the pie crust, onto the pie plate! it's already perfect and ready to use. You don't have to do anything to it!

@BrokenSyntheticWings Oh sorry! Half and Half is just half cream, half milk. We use it in the states mainly for coffee, but lots of recipes call for it too!

@BrokenSyntheticWings I'm in Australia too, you'll be able to substitute pretty well. Half&Half - just use half milk and half cream. Pie crust - substitute shortcrust pastry. The cooking creme is just Philadephia cream cheese - you know the one in silver paper in the fridge at the supermarket?  You can buy it either in a block or spreadable with or without herbs in it.
