I agree with bigsamable 1. Angus's playing makes me happy, but Chuck Berry's playing makes happy-er. Because he is the one who invented all those moves and just because he did time he was not given the reckoning he deserves, but the younger generation is finding about him and his legacy as a living legend.

Now, i'm a fairly good AC/DC fan, but i have to say Chuck Berry is the better guitarist. The only reason Angus is more famous is because he appeals to "rockers", which, sadly, there are more of than the REAL rockers, who like more music than a guy dancing around like an idiot and only playing the same three chords over and over and over.

Look, I'm a huge AC/DC fan and I agree Angus's solos kick ass, but you are DEAD WRONG about Chuck. He invented Rock and Roll. Angus, and even more so Bon Scott, have said how much they admire Chuck. In fact, in the song "Let There Be Rock," when Bon says "But Tchaikovsky had the news," he is referring to a story in which Chuck Berry wanted Tchaikovsky to tell the masses about this new kind of music.

No one person invented Rock n Roll. It evolved. Every musician is influenced by those that went before. It doesn't mean the ones that went before were better. As a player, Angus Young is light years ahead of Chuck Berry.

Chuck Berry is a living legend and he plays 3 chords and a few fairly simple guitar licks.

It doesn't matter what scales you play or how many chords - it's whether you've got feel and passion.

I've been a pro guitarist for over 30 years, so I mean this well.

Don't say you're better than Angus Young after 4 years of playing it just makes you look silly, it doesnt matter how complex what you're playing is, what matters is if it sounds good.

Does anyone here know that he died not too long after this video? Sometime in early 08. I remember hearing on the radio. And for everyone's info, this is not what was called the "Duck Walk" This is another move he was doing. To see the actual duck walk move, search for the vid Maybelline at the Midnight Special 73 among others. Cheers all! Angus Young I heard in an interview admitted having really been inspired a lot by Chuck growing up as a guitar player.

Cool that he still can do it! Here's my opinion, Chuck's duckwalk is the original and is unique. But Angus uses more energy and it's cooler, this is more of a classical rock move.

Näin on. Mahtoiko äijä suuttua miksaajan möhläilystä keikan aikana vai oliko kyseessä vain vanhan miehen väsymys. Encore olisi kyllä kruunannut keikan aivan loistavasti. Mutta tuolla uralla ja uskottavuudella saa rokkari puolestani tehdä aivan mitä haluaa. :D Hienoa oli nähdä legenda, luultavasti kuitenkin viimeinen keikka Suomessa.
