About 1905 when against 1 russian soldier fight 5 japan, and US, IK France and Germany helped to japan, japan Generals spoke that this war is a shame for japan army. Study better.

@rusbp Maybe you should take a history book and read about 1905 war before you make stupid statements? Russians fought with Japans mainly in the sea, and no other country helped Japan. Japan Navy annihilated Russian Navy all by itself. Japanese generals said it was a shame for Japan army apparently because judging from your capabilities they thought losing even a single Japan ship to you was way too much. Study better, but preferably something apart from history - it's not your thing.

@rusbp russia had a genocide in Afghanistan they killed something like 3 million people, "war crimes" are what you call the losers actions, and you study better sir, you would have known that russia and the united states AND japan where trying to make the same weapon, japan would have used it too, they showed in many failed attempts that they where trying to kill any Americans soldiers or not.

A-Bomb was as fair as Japanese Kamikadzes. Besides, Japanese bombed Pearl-Harbor with non-military personnel, killing a lot of civilians.
Russian Navy didn't have a chance against Japan in WW2. Did you even have a Navy, anyway? Three boats with a machine gun? Russian-Japan war in 1905 showed that your Navy sucked, or that Japan Navy was superior.

@rusbp It wasn't a war crime, the president at the time WARNED Japan TWICE they would bomb them if they didn't surrender. Guess what? Japan didn't stop. America dropped 2 atomic bombs ending the war in the pacific. It killed civilians, but its war. It happened over 65 years ago and it was a world war! and a war crime? LOL Germany was charged with war crimes buddy, they killed over 6 million civilian jews and millions more .

@fabf1981 Have you drawn this conclusion from the results of Georgian war where Russia fought with casualties ratio 1 to 3 while having better equipment? Not to mention the loss of TU-23. During the Iraq war while fighting door-to-door 1 US Marine was worth about 10 Iraqi insurgents.
OMON is only good for beating up and killing unarmed people, they are not trained to fight wars like regular soldiers are. As for regular Russian soldiers - they suck bad. Dilettanti.

The Americans had no allies in Vietnam, they were there by themselves, without the support from the rest of the world, America itself didn't even support the war. The Gooks however had the support of the Russians and the Chinese. Let's not even mention the fact they were fighting on home turf.
