I am a Pilot, and I think it's fucking bull shit that they spend twice as much money to train this woman pilot and end up with half the fucking pilot when its all over. I watched her movie. It looked like a PMS drama party . It was plain to see that guy in that movie was cleared for the carrier weeks befor when meggan was home getting more tampoons.
I don't think the gender had anything to do with it. They were clear they are following the general rules.

This is a staged dogfight. It's simplified real dogfights don't occur so simply as this. How do you think they could get a plane up there with a Camera? The dogfights are actually MORE theatrical than this. Much more loops and turns, but if they did that the Camera couldn't keep track with them. Too bad dogfighting is dead. Now we shoot and run from like 100 miles.

No I understand that what I'm saying is that dogfights aren't this simplistic. they altered it and told them not to dogfight to the full extent of their planes so that the camera's could keep up. The F-5 is an awesome agile jet. For being small it makes it more difficult for the tomcat pilots to visually identify where they are. Some don't concur with the fact that the navy has dismissed the use of the F-14 and are in current use of the F-18 Superhornet. Although less in speed, agility is what makes the difference between them both. I just saw this documentary, its very inspirational. Recomended
If it wasn't for the aparent 20 or so man hours to re servive the f14 after every flight I think it would still be in service in the US air program today.

Actually if she was a fat short chick she'd make a damn good fighter pilot. Physiologically, the shorter and stockier you are the better you can withstand G's. A tall skinny guy (or girl) will pass right out at 5 g's.
"tiger 2" is the designation for the f-5 E, notice the tiger has an inside advantage at 1:27 and at the comment" gotta get out from underneath him" the f-14 is under and slightly behind the f-5,..
