However, it doesn't follow from this that God does not exist, and nor does it follow that God is indiifferent to human lives. One piece of evidence for God's existence is morality, and so it is quite obvious God is VERY concerned with how we conduct our lives.

That being said, if there is no holy book that is correct and no real evidence, we can not assume there is one. Morality can easily exist without God, in fact a society would be impossible without morals, so we evolved hem to keep us from hurting others and in turn hurting the society.

Indeed, all holy books are fictions. But that doesn't do anything to show atheism to be true. There's no reason to think 'I' wrote any of the holy books, yet I exist. Similarly, if God exists, there's stil no reason to think he wrote any of the holy books. this guy has a point religion to me is something that people believed in a bunch of years ago, and as science developed greatly, the believe of "god" and "spirits" seemed to get unreal as science proved all these things wrong. its an ancient thing and many people didnt think of more practical ways of life and instead believed in mystical things. im becoming an atheist a bit, but if other people believe in religion, im fine with that.

Many came back sharing the same kinds of experiences! It intrigued him so much that he started compiling them together for reference. One piece of evidence for God's existence is morality, and so it is quite obvious God is VERY concerned with how we conduct our lives.

That being said, if there is no holy book that is correct and no real evidence, we can not assume there is one. Morality can easily exist without God, in fact a society would be impossible without morals, so we evolved hem to keep us from hurting others and in turn hurting the society.

Indeed, all holy books are fictions. But that doesn't do anything to show atheism to be true. There's no reason to think 'I' wrote any of the holy books, yet I exist. Similarly, if God exists, there's stil no reason to think he wrote any of the holy books. Atheists seem to have difficulty grasping this (perhaps becasue the bulk of their arguments are against religion rather than against their real opponent - theism).
