are LNC useless in this fight? i never seen a vid with a lnc in it

@masterYIP702 No, LNC is not useless, you can sub LNC (or PUG/MAR) for an ARC without losing much. However, alot higher skill is required since you need move around chase it down and navigate WS Combo direction. ARC is just easiest/cleanest way to do it.

How did you guys manage to not wipe when the king was summoned? We have been trying everything. I still take 3500 damage with sentinel SS Rampart and Protect.

@chenoahfindley More moogles you take down in first phase the less damage he does when summoned. It's really hard not to wipe if you don't kill all moogles excluding the PLD. Only build TP on the PLD at start.

Eh, I wouldn't call it a cheat, but there is an easy way. After AF, just burn down 3 mages and then have one person raise after dead, not engage, raise everyone else after wipe and resume fighting.

Though at that point the hard portion of the fight already over so it doesn't add much.

Great job guys, Im curious as to what your bar set up is (as a tank nowadays) and what materia you have on to be an effective tank.

I use Bloodbath, Provoke, Featherfoot, Foresight, Second Wind, Invigorage, Cure, Stoneskin, Raise, Sanguine Rite

As for materia, + enmity in belt and + mp in hat, stack hp on all others. I use Ifrit Blade but I think a +enmity weapon would work better for this particular fight since keeping hate during second phase is a pain.

@ragzGT Thanks for the answer. Just one last question. After astral flow (or whatever its called) what does the party do? I see you trying to get the mrd back but what about the others? Do you go down the line (whm, blm, etc) all together or do people take one individual moogles themselves?

It's hard to zoom out when they run around all the time. Since need to have target lock to keep auto attack going.
