@BNSF9250 I was planning on catching her again on the 10th but since it left early I won't be able to. But Im glad that I caught it when I did. Good luck man.
@TezJ16 im sorry you didnt get to see her again. it probly wont go straight through tommorow. so i will probly still be able to chase it on saturday , and then go across the river and film the BNSF coal drags
@SkipW Thanks Skip! Actually thank legsbluetrain for the drive. As usual I rode along with him but the whole trip was well worth it. Congrats on the engagement!
nice video Good old #844 the queen of the rails the star of the train world the living legend herself. I love this train I remember when she came to Bliss Idaho I taped it when she did Portland Rose. she was also on Extreme Trains.
@geomodelrailroader Thank you very much. I agree it is the queen of the rails. I loved seeing 844. This was my very first time seeing the old girl. Thanks again.
@TezJ16 LOL I was exited as you were back in 2007 when she came for the North West Excursion but I did not have a camera but I got her in 2010 during Portland Rose. check the Reed Jackson car I think that was SkipW in the car.
@geomodelrailroader Haha I bet that was a great experience. Yep SkipW was in it. You can see him at the last of the video. Also legsbluetrain zoomed in on him in his shot.
Dam bro LUKY MOFOS! lol but we got the OCS so both of us got good stuff, Dang man wish i could have got this, nice looking engines & Trains, my baby 1982! Whistle sounds good, He was moving too, Awesome editing man good vid love this
@JgordonAmtrak1 Haha I gotta admit bro this is my best yet. It sucks that they had this and the OCS at the same time but at least you still got the OCS. 1982 was lookin good but 844 definitely stood out more haha. I love that whistle and the engineer really knew how to use it. Oh yea man he was movin around 70-75 mph most of the time. It was hard to keep up with. Thanks alot bro.
@TezJ16 and congrats catching her six times , it is hard to do that. she runs fast. to do that you really had to know the land , so i congrajulate you on that sir. and it also looks great. nice job man
@BNSF9250 Thanks alot man. It was very hard. It was legsbluetrain and I's very first time in that part of the state. She was running a good 70-75 mph most of the time so it was very hard to keep up with the old girl. Thanks again man Im glad you enjoyed it.
@TezJ16 your welcome man. i ll get her come back to kc station on the 12th . pity i wont get to chase her to falls city nebraska though. my dad has a meeting that day.
@LinemanRailfain Thanks alot man! I really wanted to shoot at that diamond but there were so many people so we just kept moving. There was even a BNSF train waiting.
@Danny76643 Thank you! I am glad that you loved it! I absolutely love that cam. Both of them for that matter. I really liked those locations as well. They were all spur of the moment decisions. I love the one with the grain elevators in the background. Thanks again!
These old Steamers bring back a lot of memories. They had power the Diesel Locomotives will never have. I sure miss the Steamers. Thank you for catching a memory I have never forgotten :-)
