Paris is da fukin real deal man truss me real hip hop lives not the fuckin bullshit today......2000 years from now future youts this will be the fuckin bible st8 up TRUTH....
Paris is one of the most slept on from the 90s. This album is sick all the way through, as are his others. Always good to see old school Frisco shit up here too
Rappers like KRS ONE, Chuck D, Rakim, Paris, Kam, Wise Intelligent, Boots Riley, Kool Moe Dee, 2Pac & Ice Cube made me bond to hiphop as a youngsta.
The message in the music of BDP, PE, XClan, Brand Nubian, PRT & others made it edutainment as they spoke out on Social issues in their rhymes that many inner city youth could relate to.
To see what's being pushed in the mainstream media (BET/MTV/ClearChannel Radio) today as hiphop is sad.
The finish line is control of your mind- KRS ONE (Ah Yeah)
This is a dope track! I was listening to 2Pac's Words of wisdom song and he said "Paris America's night mare" I was confused so I looked this guy up. I didn't even know there was such a rapper. It's funny how 2Pac's Representin '93 got me too look up Pete Rock and CL Smooth, and now I love their music. It's too bad people my age don't listen/read to the lyrics in music these days, they would find some good stuff.
The story behind the rap is anti Illuminati, what people should understand is thingz is not about race or culture, colour or creed, all this racism needs to be thrown out the window, it has been orchestrated to create division and split society. It is them and us, the rich v the poor, the illuminated v the slave, no matter what skin colour or religion, factions created to divide mankind so people become blinded from the truth, that they slaves to their hidden masters!
black panthers are nothing but a raciest bunch no less then the KKK or Nazi's they preach hate and nothing more he does have alot of good points in his music but showing somthing that happened to his race over 50 years ago but not looking at what his race has become now
@drinica2 dude ,I'm a history student and you are wrong, black panthers were created because of oppressive whites treating people unfairly and blacks were persecuted straight up, even the laws in our country were against them, do some research before you say some ignorant ass shit like that
@drinica2 The Panthers never started out as a racist groupe, newer members shifted the group into a KKK-like group. When the Panthers first began they and white people supported equal rights.
this is one of the realist raps ever made paris is the official most slept on artists there ever was much love i like the song back in the days.but i can find it and im not talkin bout days of old either that one go hard thogh too.
Did this really get played on Rap City? I guess I'm a little young to remember. all that. For as long as I can remember, BET has been a minstrel station. It blows my mind to think of Paris actually getting spins
@2tzu tupac shakur and paris knew eachother at one old interview he gets asked about paris and hip hop in general and pac says that paris allways raps for the guys never the females like they cant be a soldier too, in response and as an ode (and because paris supports and knows the BP and other people fighting for the struggle) he made the song Assata's song for Assata Shakur (2paqc's aunt/godmother) and females in general what else happened next i dunno/not heard yet?
Can't seem to stop listening to this.
