Hey, i was thinking of getting this for my bf for xmas, would it be a good jacket for winter riding? i live in ca but in the high desert so winter it can get as low as 25 in the morning.

i wear a size 38us tech r-1 alpinestar jacket..what would be my size on this one?according to ur sizing 38-40 is med.i went ot the store and tried on similar icon jacket on med size and it was a little big..so i guess im ordering small size jacket..

I was wondering what your arm length was as im the exact same size just a little taller at 6 2' but same chest size 43'1/2 arm length 34'1/2.

@symodiezel I am on the road now and not able to measure arm length. I do have long arms and this jacket had plenty of length for me. I do not believe it will be an issue.

This jacket or the Alpinestars Indy Leather Jackets. Which would you choose?

@recoilcm23 They are very different jackets IMO. I like them both a lot. Go with the jacket that best suits your personal style on this one. No matter which one you go with you will not be disappointed.

This looks like one sweet jacket. Is it just me or does it seem like this leather version with all its perforation will flow much more air then the textile version? I'm also looking at this or the contra although I'm on a bit of a budget, I would splurge on it if it's worth it.

@Inverted314 I would say this jacket will most likely flow more air than the textile version. This is one heck of a jacket IMO

Its either this or the Contra Textile jacket!! I live in miami so i need something that moves a lot of air for our 90-100+ year round weather lol.. Great Review as always!! i think this jacket in combination with Knox Armour would go perfectly!!
