  • Love your review MJ Knight buddy :)..

  • @kalel248 Thanks, I appreciate that.

  • WHat gets me is that KITT didnt even TRY to move out of the way of the lifter. And Micheal just stood there and watched him die. He didnt lift a finger to help him

  • @ReverendSyn I know. Normally, KITT would have backed straight away from it as he would have detected it approaching

  • @MJKnight07

    Valid point as well.

  • Theres a flaw in this episode as KITT had the power to micro lock the forklift loader and stop it from dumping him in there but he did not.

  • @dunn98632 That's a very valid point

  • I like this episode (it's cheezy, but so was the show - at least when it eventaully settled into its regular, child-friendly, plot formulas) but something’s always bugged me. In the pilot , Devon specifically states KITT's black shell is "not paint, but a finish bonded into the molecular structure of a new substance.' KITT would chip from gunfire if it’s skin was a painted surface.

It irks me when NOONE involved in a series bothers to ensure the episodes are internally consistent.

  • this made me cry when kitt got hurt

  • Kitt is the coolest, fastest, state of the art, supercharged muscle car ever:)

  • KITT did look messed up every now and then but KITT real life fate is actaully pretty bad.

I heard reports that the main Trans Am was parked at Disney MGM. I was looking and saw some black car. It was KITT but it took me 2 full minutes to realize it was him. The paint lost all it's shine giving hima flat black look, Windows covered in dust, rust in places, weeds growing all around him.

  • Great monologue. Best episode ever!

  • This is the only episode i haven't seen... KITT got painted white?

  • @MrSpartan17: No, in this episode, we learn that KITT's base color is white, and the black coating is actually painted on (there's a sequence when we see Michael and Bonnie painting him). However, this ignores the little fact that, in the pilot episode, Devon specifically tells Michael that KITT's black finish is not paint, but the finish is bonded into the molecular structure.

  • @ThomasFerrugia Well, you sure do know a lot of the story... I tip my hat to you, thank you for the heads up :)

  • @MrSpartan17: Man, when I was a kid, I LIVED for this show. I can (quite pathetically!) recite every single line from many episodes, including the premiere ("Knight of the Phoenix" - I've seen it 20 or 30 times).

  • @ThomasFerrugia Lucky... The only episode i managed to save (from my father's VHS collection) was Evil KITT, (The one where KITT gets hacked) But i'm searching for the full series on amazon, still i can't find...

  • yeah that part i didn't understand like the guy said why didn't kitt detect that fork lift or when the fork lift got get in the air instead of kitt yelling for michael to help him why didn't kitt micro lock the fork lifts breaks before the fork lift had a chance to dump him in that pit or after he was dumped in the pit why didn't kitt hit the turbo boost ? i think there was a few things kitt could have done so save his self i guess the writers didn't think of all that .i still love the show tho

  • Yeah, I was a small child when this was on the air but it's one of the few episodes I remebered.

  • I think that one of the greatest episodes was knight of the jugernaut!

  • Yeah, that's one thing that sticks out at me. He should have detected the fork lift and driven away. But if he'd done that, there would have been no show. That happens throughout television shows all the time: The character(s) always lag behind instead of getting the heck out of there and then end up in a big pickle. -_-

  • Hee, your attempt at a Boston accent is funny XD I enjoyed the review, though. :)

Hmm, so this time round we had acid pits, environmental messages, and a car with a case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Goodness, this series was weird sometimes (uh, make that ALL the time). It's odd, really: they showed us living creatures suffering to build up our empathy, but it was basically KITT I felt for the most... an environmental message was delivered via harming an ARTIFICIAL being....

  • в какой серии это было и в каком сезоне

  • we got to remember kitt had a feelings chip. hell i loved this episode, it all fit very well and great video

  • I cried when I saw K.I.T.T. get destroyed when I was younger.: :( .; Lol.

  • when was distroyed i cried

  • Really???

  • I hated this episode.I damn neared cried.

  • No your not going to get in trouble i see that you actually got it right. If people did do what you said get along better the world would be a better place thats very much the case. Awsome talk on it . Peace :)

  • "Can Michael Jackson moon-walk?".; Love it!: :) .

  • Nice review, but consider this, the clicking and features just werent the best for Season 3p2. If you listen to the speed up clicks from the dash, they were, click click click, not a quick rev up. They also never really revamped him back up from Season 3p1, the original makeover. He 'felt' heavier, and not the best jumping, remember he was jumping through things than over in Season 3p2.

  • very well put exelent review!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you for saying so. :)

  • One of the best episodes ever. Although they had to put a real Trans-am into the pit so they could do the scene where they pulled it out. So why not film that same shell (in black) being dropped in by the forklift?

  • This is one of my favorite episodes from the original Knight Rider

  • I believe they used a model KITT stunt double in the sinking into the toxic waste scene.

No KITT was harmed in the making of this episode of Knight Rider. But Michael Jackson's hair and mind could not be saved.

  • Yeah. Looked to matt-finished to be KITT and they would never dump a car into a toxic pit

  • Another super KW special there MJ. I keep laughing when you mention "The Michael Punch". As a kid and even now it's still funny that Michael used to knock out the bad guys with only one punch Lol!!!

  • Yeah, somewhat clice, but always amusing.

  • one of my favourite episodes, too.

plus, KITT looks great with that white primer, too

  • He does look good in white, but it was good to see him 'back in black'.

  • That was one of my favorite episode. Great Review!

  • Thank you. :)

  • YEEEEEAH! JunkYard Dog was an awesome episode!
