@ande320 how do you know? or is it just a guess? you know that the brand bose is hated by almost all audiophiles?

but i believe bose has a better sound dock, bose speakers produce pretty good (mainstream) sound for their size.

but if you compare it bose to the mainstream B&W, Folks, Klipsch, SVS, Martin Logan etc you will notice that bose is just crap ;)

and then we haven't even spoken about the high end brands (which b&w is also)

zeppelin mini is 36 watt rms. bose sounddock portable is at least 50 watt rms

What kind of sound quality should I be expecting from this system? Somewhere between let's say a Sony (or other consumer brand) micro-hifi-system and a hifi bookshelf speaker + dedicated stereo amp setup?

@metallicapat Bose is designer gear for those who do not know the High-End, B&W as great as it is is NOT the best in the world. Like Dynaudio and Genelec they make great speakers,not ...the best.
