i use the SCDB for my TOMTOM .. did a drive through europe... its very good indeed for the money. UK coverage is really very good too.

well, i have an italian iPhone with a data plan, i traveled to France but had ahoy not working when i disabled roaming.

it does work my old gps init did the xact same thing just dont speed thought cos this is only for red light cameras it will not pick up mobile speed traps as they use radar or laser to detect speed

It's about the geographic position. If your old unit didn't have the database for speed cams, then you need a better unit ;-)
