It just makes sense to get the silver ds lite. With the white one, it eventually turns yellow, and with the black one, you can always see fingerprints. yay ds silver!

No, this is platinum silver. It's a bit brighter in terms of colour. I think this looks better then japanese gloss silver ds.

Trust me I live and Canada and I can see the differece between silver and polar white.Silver looks a lot better. I think it's the brightness/contrast in your computer that makes youtube videos look dark.

For those looking to get one from the US - google Toys n' Joys. They offer a pretty good selection of different colors. I never bought stuff online from them, but I buy games from there locally.

$130 for the metallic silver or metallic rose colored DS lite systems I think is fair. Their prices are better than most of the ones on ebay. The special editions like the Giratina, Final Fantasy, Honeyee, Gundam, etc... are quite expensive, but they were more costly to begin with, and are even hard to obtain in Japan.

As for PSP slims - they have lots of colors too, but I'm not sure how the prices compare overall, because we hardly see a lot of the colors that the store offers.
