  • I love Stephen Tompkinson. He was so good as Damien Day in"Drop the Dead donkey" as well.

  • That was brilliant and absolutely heartbreaking! The bible quote at the end was a nice touch too.

  • OMG! I cannot believe it, I never normally watched BallyK But I got really caught up in it and I cannot stop crying, I got told what happened and I said it cannot be that bad and when it happened I just cried, I still am now, Its so sad! :'(

  • I know! It's been days since I saw the episode where Assumpta died and I've never grieved like this before for a TV show! Such an incredible love story. The actors are superb.

  • I want to make a new BK vid... do people have any suggestions? Collaborating on the 'Sometimes when we touch' was great!!

  • Well, how about one to the song "Into the West" from "Return of the King"?

    Wonderful job, by the way!

  • How about the song "I can't fight this feeling anymore?" You do such a great job!

  • thank you sooo much for making this. I cried so hard when Assumpta died, I was ready t give up the series (i didn't and im glad; she was my favorite character. I'm glad that Niamh got a chance to have more of a spotlight, but i think that the cost was too great. my favorites out of all the seasons will always be the first three. (followed by 4 adn 5, but i don't like six becuase the only original characters are liam and donnel, and Siobhán).

  • omg i cried for like 3 weeks after assumpta died! i loved her totally it was so heartbreaking i cant believe she had to die thanks for posting this xx

  • Oh my gosh ! How beautiful was this ?! You did a lovely job. I have watched so many BallyK clips, I thought I had seen 'em all, but this was so touching. Really captured the feeling of the love and that last terrible moment with Peter and Assumpta. The ending was beautify and poignant. Thank you !

  • This series actually prompted my trip to Ireland in Nov 2000. I did the closed captioning (subtitling) for a good number of the episodes. I had to see the church and have a pint at Fitzgerald's. I had the pint but after traveling 3000 miles...the church was CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION! OY! LOL

  • This cramps my guts and makes me cry...you did a beautiful job. Why do I grieve for this man like it's all real????

  • Because we felt the love they had for each other! This was one of the most emotional episodes of tv i have ever seen: I cried so hard at the end! I stopped watching after Peter left! Ironically, the man who played neve's father, Tony Doyle, died in real life a few years ago!

  • So did the man who played the old farmer. I can't think of his name.

  • At least we know we're not alone...I'm still grieving for Peter. I'd say this was the most beautiful (and tragic) love story ever to be written. *sigh*

  • @LittlePatch8

I was so glad they didn't take the route of "The Thorn Birds". Tragic and nasty. I held out for a week believing/hoping that the whole thing was a dream sequence. It sure makes me grateful that I get to be with my sweetheart and do not have to live in the world of unrequited affection.

  • sniff sniff , where's my kleenex?

  • That was beautiful.

  • Beautifully done.

  • You beat me! I'm in the middle of making one to this same song! Hmph. :-P

Anyway, great video. :-) Interesting twist, blending in the original tone at the end. So sad, though!

  • Hey! Am sorry! Am new to this whole thing... (Well not new to BallyK!!). The song just made me think... Let me know if you still make yours. x
