@clikclik1 I was born Muslim to Pakistani parents in US. Since the mid 90s I've felt extremely disenfranchised by the Singhploitation of Punjabi Culture. I was lucky that I grew up listening to the real Punjabi music. While people like Gurdas Maan n a number of Pakistani musicians are doing justice to Punjabi Culture be it Sikh or Pak Punjabi I think its a shame that Bollywood has reduced such an amazing and vibrant culture to nothing more than a single dimensional caricature.

I particularly dislike the boozy image cultivated by turbanned Sikhs themselves - something which the founders of the religion would have hated.
