@tlordon Coming from a person that did do the beta testing for this phone, and took many pictures with it, I never seen the lock up you have. I have seen that before on other phones usually due to bad SD cards, pull your card and try it, then if that works format your card. Also make sure its up to the new .7 ROM that's out. It came out day after launch. Otherwise get that back to a corp store for a swap. Good luck!

@tlordon I hear you, however i did have similar problems to the ones in the video on a droid x i used to have, they it eventually got worse and the phone became unusable.but i think its great that there are people like you hi lighting the problem's of a just lunched phone in todays tech world, most reviews are done by people who just pulled the phone out of the boy 10 min before reviewing it. so thanks for actually using the phone and knowing most of its pros, and cons.

Actully Its a cut with Curad Liquid Bandage

I was doing yard work and while cleaning out a drain I yanked a bunch of crap out and it like sliced a little skin off so i sprayed it with curad and it is the scab..

Phh.. Get a life.

so me being hands on and getting cuts and scrapes i should post. (its not like im touching you with my non contagious scab from a cut)

I dont use bandaids the curad heals better and faster etc. Piss Off

You may want to understand electronics before saying comments like that.

for example electronics get shipped dropped all the time while shipping.

G Shock to point is not hurting it in any way especialy since there is no moving parts. if the case remains intact and or the chips dont seperate your good..

many of times my evo and other phones FLEW and impacted hard with no harm

software doesnt get affected by shock up to a point that it breaks totaly.

you wouldnt have these issues

look up G-force on wiki and then some electroncis max Gs

you will quickly see electronics can withstand heavy impacts. as long as you dont do physical damage during impact. IE the phone literly breaks the plastic frame then internal damage is possible.

Think about it. when sprint ships a phone its in a small box in a biger one with like no padding and fedex just DROPS them at my door..

I will email htc and get the max forces these are specked at for your bennifit.

if you look at the times its not like i sat down and all these happened at once.

the camera freezing was after about 30 pictures one time and a few other times at total random intervals even with turning on and off.

it took 2 days be able to record the issues i wanted to discuss. not 1 hour of lets bam this out..

i wish you where right and that it was just a bad set of chips botching the data.. (ie where the rom is stored)

that would be the only way to explain the issues im having as that would be a hardware problem affecting software.

but these issues are software based and that means trading phone does nothing.

also i have seen and heard from freinds thatr phones do some and all of these.issues.

so if it was hardware affecting rom it would be only mine but its affecting others
