I'm having some trouble with the freespace open installer. It took about 15 minutes to download the stuff on a good internet connection but it is taking forever for the installer to finish it . Any help?
Iso files are virtual images and daemon tools is a program which you use to mount those images. So instead of putting CDs in your physical drive you mount images on your virtual drive. That's sort of how things work.
I actually recommend downloading the ISO files and then using Daemon tools to play it.If you need more help than that message me.(sorry that took so long)

Its not free, the source code is free thanks to volition, but the game still costs since its still owned by Interplay.
