Wonderfull recording. I have the record since 1974 and have allways been one of my favorites. I was a fan of Nilsson and because of parents was aware of the songs in this record so I found this a great record.
what a voice. when you can sing a song immortalized by Sinatra, and do it such great justice like Harry has, you know youve found greatness. Its a shame that most nowadays forget about Harry and the amazing talent he had. What happened to all the real artists in this world?
LOL!!! Is there a baritone... Thats what music needs nowa days... and Im 28, hispanic, living in New York and yes I love this music. To Harry!!! My vocal coach from above!!!
Bloberry, thank you for uploading what seems to be YouTube's only version of the awesome Gordon Jenkins tune This Is All I Ask. I don't care for Nillson's interpretation; this tune calls for, say, Andy Williams or Shirley Bassey.
Agree nice tune but IMO Nilsson sings it perfectly! Andy Williams had a great voice it's true but would never have got the pathos into his voice that Nilsson does and as for Shirley Bassey?? You cannot be serious!!
No one could or can sing as good as Harry. I love and miss you Harry. Met him years ago, great guy, very modest.God Bless you Harry, keep singing in heaven.

Rediscovering Harry Nilsson's music here has made my joining the 21st century worthwhile
Touch of Schmilsson in the night has brought back so very many memories
