I think more and more people these days are becoming more accepting of marijuana use but the fact is it should be legal and encouraged as a substitute over alcohol and tobacco. Not only are there zero harmful effects from using the drug it ACTUALLY helps fight cancer. @laiosto My heart goes out to your sister because I have witnessed the horrible things drug addiction and alcohol addiction can do to people. But I have yet to see someone choose weed over food or medication or have seen someone face down on their carpet looking for little bits of weed they may have dropped to smoke. There is simply NO evidence that marijuana has any harmful effects even if its smoked so saying it does is an argument that just doesn't hold any water. Just my two cents.

@skillz139 That's a gross over exaggeration of the prop, the age restriction was 21, and you would have been able to smoke in your home so long as you weren't exposing children to it. The prop had it failings, thats for sure, but it wasn't as bad as alot of it's opponents made it out to be.
