This was the first time that I watched an American Idol without being on the edge of my seat. Both deserved to win, and I knew that it wouldn't make a difference either way. I felt bad for David A. but he seemed happy for David. C and they both have done great things. Great job David1David2!!

the diffirence between the 2 is that dc kept it real threw out the entire show and performed all hes songs with acceracy..d.a did not one night he did outstanding the next night was terrible..thats the bottom line and thats where dc pulled ahead with the votes..witch is why he was the winner..i am personally a d.a. fan simply for the fact that he ballad songs..

IN MY OPINION, I'D RATHER LISTEN TO "TIME OF MY LIFE" THEN "CRUSH". Cook sold 236,000 copies of this song and it wasn't even in his genre... and he did it in 4 days. Coronation songs don't always do so well. Archie only sold 166,000 in the whole first week, but yet they tried to say he "crushed" Cook just to keep competition going between the two. If Cook sells a 100,000 more , it will go platinum.

Try to get your heads around this: maybe, just maybe, "American Idol" is a TALENT competition and not a beauty contest. Both were talented and both deserved to win, neither for HOW THEY LOOK.
