I was on Differin which was an expensive, SLOW working and not great result product. I then switched to Tazorac .01% and have been using it for 5 years now as acne prevention. I tried weaning myself off retinoids but as soon as I stop, my breakouts return. I still breakout a little while on Tazorac but it's because of high stress and poor sleep.

can i use the differin gel and tazorac gel together? my face is overproducing oil!! even when i use a oil-free moisturizer still makes me oil up!! my forehead is producing all kinds of pimples and i drink 8 oz of water a day. what do i do?

@prettydimples1210 I actually think that excessive sebum excretion is better than it staying in your pores and causing acne. If it really bothers you, maybe you could wash your face 3-4 times a day instead of twice. There are also mineral powders you could apply to your face to soak up oil. I like differin gel & epiduo as my topical skin treatments. They both have adapalene, but your dermatologist will know if you need the extra peroxide boost. I hope I helped you out.
