What I don't understand is how could 67 be the year of peace and love there was the Nigerian civil war the 6 day Arab Israeli war Turkey and Greece (with Cyprus) The Chola incident and loads of other crap going on in India and Africa, to say nothing of the race hatred in the US so all this peace and love never really existed except in the minds of stoned white rich middle class kids who ran back to Mummy and Daddy once they had had their fun or things got too rough for them. poor little dears

@OrpheusIsThe1 You are correct that 1967, if you look at the world in total, fell far from total peace and love. Also, especially towards the latter part of the Summer of Love in SF's Haight-Ashbury district, there were many newcomers who were not exactly there to find peace and love or a spiritual awakening. Yet, despite all that, the Summer of Love represents an ideal of a grasp for peace and beauty; these effects, though muted, still cast a shadow today, such as via this enduring footage.

I am not sure at the moment... trying to find it.

There are many older tunes that will never make CD or DVD, and are lost now...

I am sure that was a San Fransisco band of the era.

I never had it written down, was lucky to have it on an old VCR tape in a box stored for years.

I am sure there is a program you can put a song into and it will find you the title - if not, make an app and get it out there!! What a great idea.

If I figure it out, I will get it up here for you.

Paranoia, speed, heroin, harassment, bad family relations, and a polarized society

Conclusion:

The sincerity, openness and questioning by so many young people in the 60's continues today.
