  • Noone as talented as Str and knowledgable would ramble you just dont know. Amazing time after time I feel and intuit something with Strav serial work. Schonberg never grabs me. Perhaps Strav is using serialism just for its sounds in an old fashioned way but it pays rehearing where schonberg comes& goes &I have little idea what has transpired. This is meaningful from the first bars for me! I keep hoping late Schonberg works like the violin and piano concerto will become more fascinating.

  • Performers' names, please?

  • i'll never understand the popularity of some of stravinsky's works...they sound like pointless ramblings

  • @dalecampbl7 That's because your feeble brain can only comprehend Justin Beaver's and Lady CaCa's shit!! (pun intended).

  • @peppersax you just don't have the integrity to allow yourself to objectively determine what is good music and what is bad music. I like a lot of stravinsky, like symphony of psalms or symphony in C...but some of his post-neoclassical works are pointless ramblings

  • Short and sweet.

  • Great!I love your posts with Stravinsky's serial works...trule exciting.Who is the performers?

  • Not of this world , I like the undertension in the calmness of the slackened harpstrings.

  • This is one of his coolest serial works

  • Amazing- the power such a short piece can have, if it is done well.

  • The score is really useful in showing us how each of the fragments make up the whole piece. Thanks a lot!
