It's too bad SC2 takes the spot light. Don't get me wrong I play and love both, but I think AoE is just a step up. The meta game has much more flexibility, there is so many different things to capitalize on, 4 types of resources with multiple ways of gathering many. A much deeper tech, the game transitions greatly as it goes on, where as starcraft really stays very similar mid game to late. So much more micro management. If only microsoft knew how to market games so people would know about them.

i can't say for sure because i didn't see themista's perspective, but i'm betting a lot of that win had to do with just those 4 units soldier managed to sneak into mista's base without him noticing. that was a lot of villagers which went down there, i wouldn't be surprised if that made the difference.

also that second elephant just owned themista's entire army
