  • nice ^_^

  • yeah mate....... that easy ...... the only drama, though will be the centre cv bearing intermediate shaft...... between the gearbox and the cv shaft......

you will more then likely have to get a hold of a mr2 one....... or use the 3sgte bearing bracket and match the bearing to use the camry intermediate shaft.....

then get off the shelf gt4 cv shaft and bolt em in.......no need to change hubs,

    hope this helps

  • the hurdles.........for me ....modifying the cooling system......ecu wiring (so paid for that to be done),

the rest was pretty straight forward........

depending on what transmission you are using i imagine the hurldes for you will be driveshafts and gearbox......though easily enough figured out....pretty much the same steup as a gt2.....3sgte conversion ( gearbox, mounts, driveshafts, linkages, etc etc

  • @fibrewizard I just dropped an E53 Transmission into my 93 Celica GT-S with a 3SGTE swap. Before I had seen your conversion on the web I was going to install V6 Hubs Rotors and Calipers to use the V6 axles but unfortunately the Left side one is too long for a Celica. Im planning to do what you did with the GT4 shafts and outer CV joints.

Is it as straight forward as it appears?? just bolt up the 6 screws on each axle? It looks like way less of a headache than doing V6 hubs

    Thanks man

  • Me and my friend are getting ready to drop a 1MZFE into a Celica GTS st162. What do would you say were your major hurdles with your swap. ECU wiring? mounts? engine harness to interior harness? thanks
