Hi Adam,

I just bought a whip today.

After a few practices with a very poor fancy dress whip and getting some nice cracks I thought it was time for a proper one. Now I learn that flicking the wrist is a bad idea for many reasons and find I have to start from step one.

Any advice on how to proceed?
