  • SJuli: Yes, in fact, it happens to me all the time with Vedrò con mio diletto and with Achille in Sciro di Caldara, my family hates me...

  • Bravissimo e molto toccante!

  • @78fufluns There are certain songs that I can listen to a hundred times in a row without getting bored - this is one of them.

  • @serenaluce Would you like to have the picture to make a David Taylor video? I could send it to you! :)

  • @sjuli17 Unfortunately, I'm not so good with the computer to upload it:-). But I can give you the information to make your own video responsse to this video even using the same picture:-).It's possible that you just like the MUSIC very much, and not PJ's interpretation. You should compare to judge. It's CD released in Canada by Analekta in 2007. "Theatre of Early Music. James Bowman- Daniel Taylor. Here let my life". It's how beautiful, really sad and moving this piece can sound! Bravo Taylor!

  • Lovely musically, needs to work on his pronunciation of English. "O let me wee" puts a whole other interpretation onto the piece!

     "For e-ayver"?

"Mai yaeys no mar shall way-ay-elcome sleep"

    More clarity please.

  • O let me weep, forever let me weep. Such beautiful simple words cascading from a heart most open. Merci Mon Ami, Merci.

  • this is hideous

  • @amatorynumber

Definitely not the best version. But I wouldn't call it hideous.

  • I love the very Renaissance-like ending by Jaroussky!

  • fantastic

  • I heard this at TdCE. last December. PhJ moved me to tears with such a tender

rendition of this song and what a delicate, fragile beauty he brought out that night

with Mr. Scholl. It was sublime..........

  • O let me wee.

The best version of this song i ve ever listened.

  • OMG!!! He's just the best!!

  • Splendido brano... come tutto il concerto dal quale è tratto. Grazie!
