If it were just 'Don't Waste Time', the 'a' in 'waste' would be lengthened ('Don't wa-aste time') for sensible lyrical spacing within the melody.

Could it be possible she's saying 'Don't waste THE or MY time?' If it were just 'don't waste time', it would just be a quick 't-t' sound between the words. I think there's another word there or something added to waste.

She says "Don't Waste Time." She prononces it better than a native English speaker. We say "wasetime", only one T sound. That's incorrect. She pronounces both T's.

Say it properly, with two T's. It will sound like "wase teh time". Now listen to the song again, see?

@chico3jones Uh, no, she doesn't pronounce it better than a native English speaker. You're adding in a whole additional word. If you are saying those three words with the correct spacing, 'don't waste time' is still 'don't waste time'. That being said, you don't have to over emphasize the t's to be correct.

Besides, most singers release the double t when singing because it creates an awkward pause in lyrical flow.

This is w/o a doubt the best song on her album. When I first listened to this I was moved to tears. It is beautifully arranged and she sounds amazing on it. This is the type of track I was hoping for from her and I wish her whole album was more of this because she really gets the chance to display her vocals here.
