It seems to me that he does focus on the inside alot. I tend to like trapping on the outside. It is safer. But he focusing on more wing chun not escrima which zones to the outside. He probably wing chun practioneer too.
agree with you junfanjimi, they are making a simple thing more complicated. eg when you are on the outside gate ( oi mun ) why go back to the inside gate ( noi mun ) where you have more risk!

TO MANY PASSIVE MOVES IN THIS DEMO, a lot of it could be done by just cutting in without any Lin-Sil-Di-Dar.
